Thai Basil Beef Rolls Servings: 4

Ingredients
- 400 g ground beef
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 12 rice paper wrappers
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1/2 cup lettuce leaves
- Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and chili, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add Thai basil leaves and cook briefly until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Dip one rice paper wrapper in warm water until soft, then place on a clean surface.
- Layer lettuce, carrot, cucumber, and a portion of the beef mixture in the center.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a neat roll.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Serve fresh with your favorite dipping sauce such as sweet chili or peanut sauce.
