Ingredients
- 700 g pork shoulder or pork belly, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions
- Pat the pork pieces dry with paper towels and season lightly with black pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork and sear for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and slightly crispy on the edges.
- Reduce heat to medium and add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and oyster sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the pork and stir to coat evenly. Let it simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken and caramelize.
- Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then add it to the skillet. Stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until the glaze becomes glossy and sticky.
- Sprinkle chili flakes if desired and continue cooking for another minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
