Slow Cooker Cheese Hamburger Steak Servings: 4

Ingredients
- 4 ground beef patties
- 10 ounces can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 onion soup mix packet
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 pieces American or cheddar cheese slices

Instructions
- Place 4 pieces ground beef patties into the slow cooker and scatter 1 cups sliced mushrooms all around them.
- Whisk together 10 ounces of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup beef stock, 1 packet of onion soup mix, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon brown sugar then pour evenly over the patties.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 hours until the patties are tender and the gravy is thick, deeply rich and incredibly flavourful.
- Lay 4 pieces American or cheddar cheese slices over each patty, replace the lid and cook for a further 10 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted and gloriously gooey.
- Serve hot smothered in the velvety mushroom gravy straight from the pot.
