Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

 

Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  1. 250 g fettuccine pasta
  2. 300 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  3. 2 tablespoons butter
  4. 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  5. 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  6. 1 small onion (chopped)
  7. 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  8. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  9. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  10. Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  11. 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
  4. Add garlic and sliced mushrooms, cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3–4 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  9. Sprinkle parsley on top and serve hot.
